Onsite Septic Systems

An on-site septic system is a wastewater treatment system that processes and purifies waste (effluent). The effluent consists of blackwater (toilet water) and graywater (kitchen sink, bathtub and laundry wastes). The majority of systems are residential or clustered residential but remote commercial buildings rely on onsite septic systems as well.

Containment Solutions manufactures fiberglass onsite septic tanks for both aerobic and anaerobic septic applications. Due to the destructive nature of septic effluent, non-corrosive fiberglass is the ideal building material for tank designs. Underground FRP watertight tanks are a cost-effective, long-term solution for private homes, commercial developments, industrial and municipal applications. Government and state regulation of septic storage is changing to help reduce infiltration and exfiltration contamination. Flowtite fiberglass septic tanks, also referred to as cisterns, eliminate leakage problems inherent in concrete septic systems. Containment Solutions on-site septic tanks are engineered to meet and exceed current requirements and standards like NFPA 22 and AWWA D 120. CSI also offers IAPMO Z1000 approved tanks in various sizes up to 12' diameter including fiberglass baffles and other accessories.
